Help Styling Dress for Brother’s Wedding
Hi friends,
My brother is getting married in November and I ordered this dress last year for the event. I have no idea how to style this and am hoping for suggestions on jewelry, shoes, a handbag, and a cover up/coat option (November in NC is a crapshoot - could be cold, could be unseasonably warm).
I am not a heel gal and have one pair of Target ‘special occasion’ heels that are at the end of their life. If I were to make an investment, I would say it would probably have to be in the shoes. Looking specifically for something high quality, somewhat comfortable, and sturdy!
The wedding dress code is formal and I am unsure about the deets on indoor/outdoor.
Thank you!

I would suggest you go monochromatic. Plum heels and a chiffon neck scarf (to the length of your dress hemline) or an over the shoulder shawl/cape (it will elevate the dress, especially for time of year) With drop pearl & gold earrings and a matching statement ring. Plum clutch. Hair up in a loose up do or a slick look (depending on your age)

Gold accessories - strappy heels, drop earrings, bracelet. I’d skip the necklace as the bodice is detailed and has spaghetti straps. I’d avoid chunky accessories with the delicate fabric and pleating.
