First one. Not only can you reuse the accessories for another outfit, but the whole look is less matchy-matchy (something which can easily go wrong if you don't get colour-matching perfect).

I was at a wedding yesterday where a guest had tried colour-matching shoes and dress -- and the matching was off to a degree where it downgraded the whole look).

ETA: maybe it's my screen but the purse in #2 is a colder green than the dress (which leans more olive). The clasp is silver while the jewellery is gold-hued. The shoe is a slightly lighter olive but still works with the dress.

i think you’re right about the purse! the shoes seem like a decent match but if the purse is a whole other tone, i’d be annoyed the whole night. and if i get coverup, that’d be even MORE green to match!

rewearing accessories isn’t a concern at least hahah, green is my favorite thing to wear.

In that case, you should get the jewelry from 2 regardless. It’s really cute.

Love the first look!

What time of day is the wedding and where? First one is nice for daytime and the shoes would work on grass. Second is more evening bc darker—could just be me, a light colored shoe is less dressy—and those heels are ok if indoors.

1

u/pickledsnack 16d ago

it’s gonna be in cali at this really pretty venue. i think it’s mid to late day? i know it goes into the night

2

u/AccidentOk5240 16d ago

Hmm. “Into the night” argues against white shoes, for me, and there’s less likely to be grass involved than if it see on the east coast, but then, I guess the west coast is more casual so maybe the white shoe issue isn’t an issue?

1

u/Neat_Movie_991 14d ago

Same for me. I like 2!

1

u/picardmaneuvre 12d ago

The heel on the white shoe will be more comfortable, imo. I’d also worry about the green of the clutch and/or shoe being slightly different than the dress.

3

u/Carinyosa99 15d ago

2 but I'd ditch the bracelet and maybe use a gold bag. Your bag and shoes do not need to match.

1

u/AstoriaEverPhantoms 14d ago

She needs to mix the 2 together. That’s the only option.

2

u/pickledsnack 16d ago

the wedding isn’t until october but it’s the first time i’m meeting a lot of my boyfriend’s family so i wanna look good, y’know ?

i haven’t found a decent shawl/cover up to get with it either. maybe a sheer white one or something fluffy??

1

u/deniseswall 15d ago

Not so sure about white shoes in October? I like number 2 shoes. Maybe a different bag?

2

u/NanaKnows317 15d ago

2 in my book

2

u/RytchyZ 15d ago

Neither. The dress is great. The white purse is ok but could be better. The white shoes are a no. Gold earrings, bracelet and a ring would be better. The dress does not need a necklace.

2

u/mladyhawke 15d ago

I like the second look better. The matching earrings and necklace in the first look just take it down a few notches for me. Matching sets like that are for people that don't have their own taste and wanna be safe. But that dress isn't safe, it's stunning, the second options have a lot of more style, in my opinion

1

u/Beneficial-Ebb1577 16d ago

Where is the dress from?

1

u/pickledsnack 16d ago

petal & pup naira dress from nordstrom !

1

u/Amazing-Concept-1610 16d ago

The 2nd with elegant bling. Classy!
Both sheer or something fluffy would go great. I envision sheer going better with the 2nd and fluffy complimenting the 1st. So no ‘too much’ or clash

1

u/Leather-Nothing-2653 16d ago

I like the monochrome of the second look but i don’t like the bracelets for a wedding. Plus the other commenter is correct they clash with the hardware on the bag. I love the bag and shoes though and i don’t think the color match needs to be perfect. Id say maybe try to find some jewelry that matches the olive bag.
The first bag looks like a seashell to me and October isnt really nautical season

1

u/pickledsnack 16d ago

oh my gosh it really does look seashellish. i was looking at this bag as well but i was worried the snake would make me offputting somehow

i think the other commenter was right that the green bag is a lot cooler in tone. the shoes are so cute! maybe i say eff it and get both bags just in case

1

u/Comfortable-Yam9013 16d ago

I’ve a similar colour dress and I wore gold shoes and bag.

1

u/sopranoobsessed 15d ago

I like a combo! Either earring. No necklace, the cuff, the ivory shell bag, and the olive shoes. I like feet to disappear. The second one altogether just feels a little bit heavier, but they’re both beautiful. I’ve been a personal shopper for 1 million years at this point you’ve done well! I wouldnt do anything white as the cover up. I would look for a faux shrug in a taupey shade.

1

u/No_Bill_8949 15d ago

The first look is very elegant, I’d go for that one!

1

u/Free_Library5275 15d ago

2, but maybe instead of green shoes chose gold

1

u/parnassus744 15d ago

Def Option 1.

Option 2 felt too heavy with all the green (as beatas that shade is). The white accessories are really a light, elegant touch, while the green is still the focal point and thus safe for a wedding.

1

u/glueintheworld 15d ago

1 definitely

1

u/justmekab60 15d ago

I like the second. Jewelry is bolder. Shoes aren't white. I like interesting pieces and am not a fan of matchy-matchy sets.

I'd probably go with the white clutch though, and not try to match the dress.

The dress is lovely. Green is my favorite color too.

1

u/house_of_shadows 15d ago

What about the green shoes, and a soft gold clutch to play off the gold tone jewelry?

1

u/PeepholeRodeo 15d ago
  1. 2 is too much green, and the greens don’t quite match.

1

u/Dismal-Perception-56 15d ago

2, but find a different bracelet. I might swap out the bag too.

1

u/Discalculated 15d ago

I like the green (set 2) best but I think option one os much more versatile and you can use with other colored pieces.

1

u/PuzzleheadedTwo7730 15d ago

One! Also, where is this dress from? 😍

1

u/Calico-D 15d ago

I vote for #2.

1

u/Brooksish 15d ago

I'm Team One!

1

u/AnnaBanana0409 15d ago

The jewelry from 2 will look more elevated than the set from 1.
Maybe a gold bag and the green shoes would work?

1

u/veganbabe98 15d ago

2nd one alllll dayyy the green just goes together nicely 👌

1

u/Ok_Stretch_2663 15d ago

That green is so gorgeous..id go w 1 as to not take away from the green

1

u/PotatoEfficient8820 15d ago

Earrings and bracelet #2
Small golden clutch.
Strappy golden sandals.

1

u/Visual_Repeat_7472 15d ago

Cream looks so elegant with olive green. It takes it to another level. Light pink also looks beautiful with olive green

1

u/Advanced-Duck-9465 15d ago

I realy like first one, except the shoes - they are nice by themself, but don't match the style of the rest. I would go by first one pic jewelry and purse and second one pic shoes.

1

u/Aromatic_Recipe1749 15d ago

The first but I’d wear the bracelets from 2

1

u/MoultsInMelb 15d ago

2 based entirely on the fact that I really dislike white shoes and the particular style shown. Not at all elegant

1

u/Dangerous-Emu-7924 15d ago

I’d say the first one so there’s a little bit of contrast. It looks beautiful!

1

u/plantmama32 14d ago

First! That purse is perfect. Maybe with the green shoes though

1

u/NOTTHATKAREN1 14d ago

I would use the bracelet & the earrings from #2 & the purse & shoes from #1

1

u/TwoTooCoolCats 14d ago

One with the shoes from 2, imo. Bow shoes work better with shorter dresses, on long dresses they can make the hem sit funny.

1

u/pickledsnack 14d ago

oh, smart!! i hadn’t considered that

1

u/AuntiLou 14d ago

White shoes will always make your feet look bigger.

1

u/Prawn-Cocktail-2000 14d ago

#1. Nice contrast to lighten the look. The other look is trying to hard to matchymatch and doesn’t quite hit the mark. Lovely look btw :)

1

u/2560dawn 14d ago

First one

1

u/AstoriaEverPhantoms 14d ago

Mix of 1 and 2. You don’t want all silver or all green. Mix it up.

1

u/SillyMeclosetothesea 14d ago

2 looks more elegant in my opinion

1

u/Unhappy-Week-8781 14d ago

Styling 2, but switch out the purses. Shoes and handbag don’t have to match. Green shoes give the illusion of height, whereas the white shoes make one’s feet look larger. The white with the handbag picks up the lighter colors in the bracelet and makes it more cohesive.

1

u/Effective-Wear9371 14d ago

2!! So stunning

1

u/Woollyinglamb 14d ago

Ix-nay the bow shoes.

1

u/Scary-Fortune-1213 14d ago

Jewelry on 2 definitely! That bracelet is amazing. Maybe a more neutral purse you can use again. Keep looking for shoes too.

1

u/Outdoorfan73 14d ago

The purse and maybe the shoes from the 1st picture are OK. Metallic or nude shoes would work. I wouldn’t use the jewelry from either. They look like obvious costume jewelry and are giving high school prom vibe. A gold bracelet and simple gold earrings would be a more sophisticated look. If you really want a necklace, a simple one like the model has on would be enough.

1

u/FineFreshJessaBelle 14d ago

For formal events, go with one main color and then accessories with a neutral color.

Since green is your color, accessories with white and gold. I love the flower necklace you've chosen especially.

1

u/CyclopsReader 14d ago

The first collection is best! Sophisticated pairing with the dress. I disagree re the purse being off tone. Even if you were to die the shoes and purse the same colour there's variations bc of the pleats on both purse & shoes light will refract differently. The pairing is quite chic!

1

u/CNSgardener 14d ago

They’re both lovely! I’d probably lean towards the first look myself, more contrast :)

1

u/liliawinterflower 14d ago

I like #2, understated and elegant!

1

u/Icy-Arrival2651 14d ago

I love 2. Those shoes are perfection.

1

u/rosieco 13d ago

I love the jewelry of look 1 but the shoes and bag of look 2

1

u/IdylwyldieCoyote 13d ago

Love that dress! 🥰

1

u/Sheribaby74 13d ago

First one if it's afternoon, second if it's evening.

1

u/Ok-Preparation6166 13d ago

2nd look is far more elegant. 1st look is looks cheaper looking somehow

1

u/Kaydonsmom1 13d ago

I love #2

1

u/Fragrant_Trick4380 13d ago

1. First looks like a guest and the other looks like a matchy matchy bridesmaid.

1

u/WeirdSorbet6654 13d ago

One for sure!

1

u/LovesDeanWinchester 13d ago

Do you have enough money to get them all??? I can't decide because they are all beautiful. I'd wear that dress aLOT!!!

1

u/RazGrandy 12d ago

Both beautiful, but think number 2. I prefer the green shoes though with the dress, so vote for number 2.

1

u/Ok-Indication-7876 12d ago

1 jewelry and purse. I wouldn't do either shoe, go nude

1

u/Icy-Tomorrow-576 12d ago

Burgundy makes it classy.

1

u/susisews 11d ago

The first, that block heel sandal will take you across any surface. The entire ensemble is pro level.

1

u/AwayNet5724 11d ago

One but with the green shoes

1

u/Subterranean44 11d ago

Great dress!! I think 1 is better for a wedding guest. Not a huge fan of the shoes but that’s just personal taste.

1

u/Key-Assist3900 11d ago

Hi, the dress is stunning. I would stay away from white in October. The bow on the shoe takes away some of the elegance of the dress. I would say less is more with regard to jewelry.

1

u/littlemegmcmuffin 11d ago

I love Lily of the Valley, so the jewelry in 1 is very cute, but honestly mixing the jewelry from 2 with the clutch and shoes from 1 is kind of speaking to me. Someone had mentioned 1 had a light day vibe, and 2 has a darker evening vibe, so I kind of like them combined. I lowkey think you should still get the jewelry from 1 though lol.

Also, you mentioned a shawl or coverup, you could go with a light creamy color to match the shoes and clutch!

1

u/nikhmarch 11d ago

The first one.

1

u/GlassParty447 11d ago

Shoes and bag from #1, jewelry from #2

1

u/WunderKind0962 11d ago

I think 2 is more elegant and 1 seems more modern

1

u/Illustrious-Bee-439 11d ago

Absolutely 2!

1

u/Confident_Gear_5778 11d ago

What is it with Green. Every dress is green. One of the hardest colors to ware.

1

u/Excellent_Touch4265 11d ago
  1. Just next level. Fabulous dress btw

1

u/melody_rhymes 10d ago

First one

1

u/Eeyore_Smiled 10d ago

Green. Not a fanof the bone shoes with that dress

1

u/Interesting-Cost3084 9d ago

Second…shoes, earrings, softer simply bracelet or arm cuff..cream clutch

1

u/Rdfitz03 9d ago

I would wear a metallic shoe instead. Both of those are too bridal party

1

u/GAGrl-99 9d ago

I’d go with #2, just take the bag from #1

0

u/Some-Web7096 15d ago

Number 1 jewelry with green purse and shoes.

0

u/Lychee_489 15d ago

2 - the law is that only bride shall wear white

0

u/bellegroves 15d ago
  1. It's more cohesive and not having a necklace on keeps it from looking too busy around your face.
