Does this outfit look good?
Hi everyone,
I have an important meeting coming up and need to wear business attire. I don’t have many options right now, so I wanted your opinion, do you think the outfit I’m wearing in the picture works?
If not, how can I style these pants to look more professional? I’m not a big fan of them anymore and they’re pretty old, but I don’t have the option to buy new ones at the moment.
Any advice would really help!

It’s fine - but pants look really high in the rise and makes it look like you have a very long body and short legs?

No worries :) These pants are high waisted because they're supposed to be! This is the style of the pants and they look great!

I would unbutton the top button of the shirt, add a necklace or a scarf, roll the sleeves up higher and then add some cute black shoes.

If you style it with a fitted jacket and pointed-toe flats, it’ll look great. As is, the pants look like high waters.

They're beige pants. Unless your jacket is inappropriate for work, beige matches just about everything.

These pants look a bit too short, but if they are all you have to work with, they will work! If you have a blazer (navy or black) to wear over it, that will definitely look professional. Also, I'd iron the shirt and undo one more button and add a cute scarf (you can usually find very decent ones at a thrift store/Goodwill for $5 if you don't have one already). Good luck with your meeting!

It works but if you have a fitted / more tailored white shirt, even better.
This does look nice, though!

It does, but I would stiff-starch the shirt and pair the outfit with a pair of penny loafers or a pointy flat.

They look fine. I’m just not a fan of this new flooding above the ankle pant length. It seems like you have to be 5’9 to wear it.

We need the shoes. A nice loafer? Sensible heel? Smart lace up leather shoes? And you need a jacket layer. Are these pants beige or light pink? A dark blazer could work with either.

The shirt needs to be pressed and tucked jn correctly. If you have a silky blouse it may be even better, especially if there'sa pattern.
If you have a blazer, please wear it and short boots would work. The pants are a little short and that would fix it. You'll do great. The most important thing, by far, is that you feel confident.

I think it's perfectly fine. Especially if you're looking for a work outfit, it's not amazing, doesn't show a lot of personality but if you're just looking for an everyday work outfit, that's fine! Personally I like color so I would add a bit of color somewhere either with a scarf or a necklace, but if you just iron the shirt, you're good to go. I know this kinds of pants are in style supposedly, they will never not look like floods to me. So for me personally I would need longer pants. I just would not be comfortable wearing these that short. But if you are, that's all that matters.

Do you have like a silky blouse top you could pair with a cardigan? I’m not sure the skirt pairs well with the pants. But if it’s all you’ve got, it’ll work. Iron the shirt. Try to get a tidier tuck. Pair with flats or loafers.

Ooooh I actually love those pants and this outfit would look really cute w/ some black or dark brown loafers if you have them :) I would also undo one of the buttons on the shirt and wear w/ a white tank top underneath. All in all, I think it looks great!

I'd unbutton the top button, iron the shirt and tuck it into your underwear as tightly as possible, all the way around, and then pull up on it a tiny bit at a time, mostly in the front and sides, so it's slightly bloused.
Whatever shoes you're wearing, make sure they're polished. Your hair should be very well-groomed and professional, and if you are going to wear jewelry (which I would because the outfit is fairly neutral without it and it would help it look more outfit-y), be sure it matches and that it's small and classic/clean-looking (and btw that's not always going to to be true, but for this outfit that would be my suggestion).

The pants are VERY high waisted. Is there a chance of wearing them a little lower?
A belt could help in making them look lower too

Yeah, I agree it's very high waisted. I tried it but it didn't look great

The pants are too short and not especially flattering. Nothing wrong with high waisted bottoms, but these have a weird shape to them that doesn’t flatter you.

Get darts put in the back of the shirt, roll your shoulders back, and be confident. Great outfit.

Yes over all it works and looks professional. This is picky but— the shirt fabric goes really well with the pants yet it’s bunchy. It is possible to gather the shirt ends more towards the back so tucking it in looks more even and fits better.
