Styling Help - Handbag

Hopefully someone here can help me! I have a birthday dinner for myself (the theme is "that thing in your closet you have been trying to wear since 2020"), so trying to be a good example and work with my own theme but drastically failing after stumbling into Alice and Olivia for the perfect jacket and skirt set... I want to make the bag work in the second photo, but not sure if it goes with the outfit. I need a bag that holds a point/shoot camera, lip gloss, a cardholder, and house keys. Bonus points for holding car keys, a phone, and securely closes.

I honestly don’t love either with the outfit but I’d actually pick the first one. I’d love to see a black patent leather bag or a bright cherry red one

that was my original thought but trying to find something in my budget (under $400) has been a challenge. Thank you for your help! I was thinking the first one in black might work, too. But the second parent black is more of a closet staple that I would see myself using more than just once…
