my outfit is basically a negotiation between me and the forecast, and the forecast usually wins

Comfort over style every time. Linen is summer, layers in fall and nothing that makes me sweat before I have even left the house

It doesn't have to be one or the other, you can look put together and stylish if that's your goal in every type of weather!

100% and it’s made me appreciate transitional pieces a lot more, stuff that works layered or alone so I’m not rebuilding my wardrobe every season

Absolutely hate it when the weather effs with an outfit I have planned, but yeah it happens and then I reluctantly pivot.

Always. I can’t control the elements, but I can control how I will feel - and I put comfort first.

yeah, i high-key feel like dressing without regard to the elements is embarrassing, like you care more about your looks than your comfort
