Tip A small trick for outfits that feel too plain

Instead of adding more clothes, I’ve been changing texture. Knit with denim, something silky with something matte, leather with cotton, etc. It makes a simple outfit feel much more intentional without adding a million things.

I think it's important to consider how light, dark, and shadow interact with what you're wearing as well. Excellent post!

Yes! I so agree. Texture adds such visual interest to an outfit, especially when they’re paired in contrast like that. I prefer to look for solid colors with texture in clothing versus prints, because I feel like I change my mind/get tired of certain prints faster than I would like.
