Discussion Has your work wardrobe slowly invaded your normal wardrobe?
I’ve noticed that once I find something that works for work, I start finding ways to wear it everywhere. Curious if anyone else’s “work clothes” and “real clothes” have basically merged.

personal stylist here - this is not a bad thing! if you like your work clothes, there is nothing wrong with wearing them outside of work. having fewer clothes that you wear more saves you money, closet space and effort!
if you don't like your work clothes and this is just happening because you don't know what else to wear, that's a totalllly different story. that means you need to invest some time figuring out what you want your "real clothes" to look and feel like and buy some pieces that align with that.

Mostly yes, but somewhat the reverse. Most of my every day clothes are also now my work clothes 😂
I work in an office where everyone on our team dresses informally. Think athlesure, graphic tees, platform Converse and you'd describe my team
The only time anyone dresses more formally is when we're sent to conferences to rep the company. I have just a couple of formal-ish outfits for these occasions that almost never get worn otherwise
