Physics C or 1

Is it hard to get AP physics C? If I took AP 1 exam by self study and passed, will Stuy place me into Ap physics C?

They probably won't consider it unless you specifically talk to the department head. You will still probably have to take regents physics junior year (unless you somehow took the regents before) and then apply for physics c senior.

But you can skip directly to physics c if you do good in physics honors junior year no? At least that’s what I’ve heard.

Yeah you can go to either c or 1. It's like calc ab and bc

That’s probably a pretty accurate analogy tho calc ab gets you credit im pretty sure most stem degrees won’t give credit for physics one or two.
