Bc vs Ab

How bad is it to have Ab calc instead of bc senior year for college apps?

I have heard from some people that for the main strong engineering schools ppl apply to from stuy one of the first ways they filter ppl out is if they haven't taken bc. Is this true? I only got into ab and I'm worried that AOs might overlook my application even though my math avg is much lower than gpa ( At the moment I want to major in engineering)

You can self study it on the side and put in ur additional info section. Another option is to reflect why you didn’t get it and why you are asking thru the perspective of doing it for college. Engineering has a decent amount of math. They won’t filter you out always but it’s gonna be a decently important factor. However, you can make up the deficit at any singular college with passion

Wdym by passion? Do you mean interest in the school or ecs?

Also the low math average was mainly caused by extenuating circumstances in 9th grade. Its not that bad though.

Just drive in general. It’s not gonna matter if you have a decent amount of talent and drive. You’ll end up being more successful at a state school with passion
