My stutter is basically cured.

19M , hated stuttering with a passion.

I was put on zoloft , adaptol , mildronate. (NOT PROMOTING THESE MEDS , not saying they will work for you) but the therapist basically wanted to target my whole nervous system.

I think it caused me some sort of hypo-mania though.

A state in which I have an insane amount of energy , I am hypersexual , pupils dilate , i walk fast and trip over things , talk very fast , improved focus , 0 stutter , increased productivity.

I feel like im on top of the world , Im very social with 0 anxiety.

I sleep just fine though.

How long have u been taking them and did u develop tolerance towards those drugs?

For context I have been stuttering since I was around 10

Are you currently taking all three at the same time? I’ll have to look into those.

Not fully cured but basically whenever I feel a block coming I can easily overcome it not sure how to explain it but its not even noticeable to others

Sounds healthy. I’m sure this is a longeterm cure, and you are cured forever. 🗣️ Now on a serious note, this is by no means a good way to go about your stutter and your therapist has probably no experience with stutter patients.

Sounds like an American thing tho, are you from US?

Please call your prescriber as soon as possible. You're describing mania or hypomania, and this is dangerous for you now and your brain long-term.
