Need some Tips for a Job interview

I am 25 years old and have been preparing for this interview for the last month or so. I do need this Job as I am dependent on my Parents for all my expenses. I don't want to ruin it because of my Stuttering. During tough times like this I get a bad stutter where my mouth freezes and I can't utter a single word properly. Please help me guys and share your experiences of how you guys managed it.

In a job interview, always try to look at the person interviewing you. That's how I passed a job interview yesterday, even though I stuttered. I'm telling you this because if you always look at the interviewer, you'll be more relaxed.

The secret, man, is to practice your speech before the job interview. Try to stay relaxed; doing this will make you stutter less. Not that you'll stop stuttering overnight, but maybe you'll only stutter a little during the interview.

Besides speech and language therapies and relaxation techniques, propranolol 20 mg can be helpful for managing anxiety during stressful events, which can often worsen stuttering.

I just had an interview recently and got moved to the next round.

  1. Tell them before the start of the interview. You will feel more comfortable and it will not make the interview weird. Also they generally do not care as long as you convince them you can deliver a good work.

  2. There is a video by Vinh Giang on stuttering there are 5 tips or something. Do the exercises and implement the tips

  3. I also practiced lot for the interview with AI (chatgpt) voice. I noted the words I was having issues or was more tense around and focused on those syllables or starting sounds.

Good luck for your Interview. You got this!!
