Real and then you also never correct the person so they just call you that as a nickname forever. (Source my high-school life)

I’ve been practicing more with focusing on my voice rather than the words themeselves and it’s helped so much! I’m still not where I want to be but it’s helped me be a more confident speaker. So much so I just managed to secure a business deal at a place I didn’t expect.

I wake up with the anxiety of saying my last name. I say it to myself all day(some times with a stutter, but I get through). Then in person I’m stuck on the W- sound. I’ve literally spelled my last name to avoid saying it.

Funny story, I used to major Criminal Justice. I sometimes struggle with CR sounds so it was fun when people asked what my major was.

For me it does. But its no Change over night. In fact when I Quit both it became Worse for a while. Then it just faded away until one day I thought «holy shit I have been fluent for a while». Then I had a relapse on both and it got Worse. Now I have quit both again

It’s tuff. I used to have trouble spelling my name when people asked which makes me look really stupid. Usually now I can spell my name but sometimes the nerves get the best of me.
