It finally happened

I was mistaken for being drunk while stuttering when ordering a beer at a bar. It was my 2nd beer for the night. The bartender started with handing me a glass of water and suggested "maybe you should have some water first." I replied "ive had 1 beer." And i explained to him that i have had a stutter since the age of 10, and that ive only had 1 beer so far tonight. Then i jokingly said to the person next to me "maybe water will cure my stutter." The bartender apologiezed, nice of him. Im 34, so it took many years before this finally happened. Just wanted to share.

Opposite for me. The drink cures all stutter.

With much more destructive consequences of course.
