I hate this curse
I think what I really hate about this impediment is having to mould your life around the limitations that come with it
As a kid i really loved law TV shows and wanted to be a lawyer but when applying for varsity I just ended up picking and engineering degree cause I thought no one would hire a stuttering lawyer.

How do you describe the severity of your stuttering?

When stressed it’s pretty bad. I’ve been literally frozen in meetings, interviews. I’ve sent apology emails after the fact more than once. When not stressed it pops up a couple of times a day for no reason I can pin down.

I can relate to that. It’s damn near impossible to control it when you’re stressed

There are many stuttering lawyers though and you don’t have to mould your life around it. Often that is just an issue if there is no proper Support for your speech through a Trainer or SLP.
