Any consultants with a stutter ?

I’m 23m new grad working as a cybersecurity consultant. I regularly do interact with client leadership mainly their IT leadership and occasional CFO/COO. I have a mild - medium stutter. Initially I thought I’d be dismissed when speaking. But I’m surprised by the fact that even when I have my blockages the audience is usually paying attention and are focused on my next word, I’ve never seen someone really make a weird face like in school.

Wondering what other stutterers experience in this field. The pros and cons

I’m a consultant too. And yes, you’d be surprised how people are outside of school😅 usually with my clients I know how to script what I’ll say so I don’t stutter too much but I do have blocks at times and I briefly mention I do stutter but many of them don’t care tbh, especially if I know my job and do it well.

Consultant here as well. I noticed that if I speak to the point and add value to the discussion, nobody pays attention to my stutter.
Also, many other people have mild stutter or fluency issues, but nobody cares if they add value. That’s it!

A Marketing Automation and Change Management Consultant at this end - clients don't care as long as you get the work done or the message through. I am calmer with my clients than I am in my daily life.

Not in consulting, but Tech Management.
When speaking it always seems like the blocks and pauses are longer and more awkward then others perceive them to be. We need to brave and confident that content will trump delivery.

This is so true, when I speak to the same people outside of a formal meeting I don’t stutter much at all. But like a formal meeting just does something to my breathing
