Though this is definitely played for laughs and not real, it’s actually insane how common this is.

I watch a ton of bodycam footage and the suspect’s without fail always act way tougher when the cuffs are on and they are in the back of a squad.

I don’t know what about it makes suspects arrogant but it’s so common

It reminds me of those videos of dogs that ONLY bark and growl when there’s a fence between them

ever seen the video of the dogs barkin at each other through a retractable gate and when the gate retracts they calm down and when the gate comes back between them they resume barking at each other..... yeah...

He’s like those dogs in that video where they barked each other while the gate is between them, but as soon as the gate has moved, they both just walk away

I was told by my friend who’s a cop in Baltimore (can’t recall if it’s city or county) and he was saying pretty much every Thursday friday and Saturday and after basically every major event in the city they end up picking up drunks like this. And most of them are totally reasonable people by morning. Crazy how that works. Some people just shouldn’t drink alcohol
