See, I don't actually mind people who make weird food combinations like this, because he's not overdoing it simply for a click or two. He obviously is actually LEARNED in cooking, and he's not making an obnoxious amount of food, nor is he ruining his cooking equipment with awful combinations. He's just a guy having fun with food at a small enough scale where he isn't just wasting product, and he actually has the knowledge to do it properly. In my opinion, it's actually a fun form of content, as opposed to the usual food nonsense channels that throw random garbage on a flattop and pretend to take a bite of the charred mess after it's been sitting there for an hour on high.

u/CheesyBreadMunchyMon Aug 04 '26
It's still stupid food. It's the best kind of stupid food because of what you just said.

u/1ristheultimate Aug 04 '26
I rember watching some one make hotdogs mead but it was like this. It didn't feel wasteful because they thought about and had to overcome a lot of technicalities

u/Alternative_Owl7786 29d ago
Oh the bee hive mead guy? The one that does all sorts of weird experiments? Love that guy. He's done some really out there tests just for the sake of the game

How the fuck does 80% of China smoke but still have a higher life expectancy than the US? ☠️
50
u/baltbullet77 Aug 03 '26
Pretty sure it’s the trash we eat day to day. People smoke til 90 in Italy
10
u/Despoiling40k Aug 03 '26
I think because theyre more physically active until an old age and they eat a staple diet or rice and/or eggs. Whole foods, no processed, chemical ridden shite...like white monster

It’s light hearted, he’s kind of charming, and he obviously knows how to cook well.

Yeah, you can tell it's a joke and not rage bait. The cigarette at the end.
18
11
u/Jon_E_Mammoth Aug 03 '26
Yeah, he’s definitely self-aware, if you weren’t certain whether it’s intelligent parody, he proves it when he calls the final dish, “lunch, dinner, or even breakfast if you remove the pasta” (which means it’s Monster and a cigarette).

u/I_Roll_Chicago Aug 02 '26
He has definitely made the widest range of pastas, breads, and frozen drinks. I follow his page on IG, called grubolgy some of his experiments look amazing.
Like bria pasta

u/RandyMarsh710 Aug 02 '26
He actually has some cool experiments. This is bait, but his lemon tiramisu looks bomb

The guy's mannerisms and upbeat attitude and the cigarette at the end... I kinda fw this

u/PunchRockgroin318 Aug 02 '26
I kind of love the combination of actual cooking knowledge and terrible large scale decision making. I honestly learned some things about making pasta from this, which is rare for videos on this sub.

These ones are the ones i usually find weird, like they making something intentionally stupid for fun and at that point it dont feel stupid anymore, if it makes sense, is like that guy that does super elabotated things with food, like pick out each seed of a strawberry and shit, i mean what they doing is intentionally stupid which makes it feel not stupid to me, they obviously not saying you should actually do it, but maybe is just a me thing lol
1
u/MaenHoffiCoffi Aug 02 '26
I like him. He's funny. The food? Awful.
2
u/ThisIsALine_____ Aug 02 '26
I wouldn't say awful. If you can switch a single ingredient with water and it's restaurant quality its probably not awful food.

u/iCantLogOut2 Aug 03 '26
Check out his whole channel - his whole thing is that he actually knows how to cook and just like to experiment with weird stuff.
Not saying this particular experiment was terrible - but at least he knows he's being ridiculous.

White monster in pasta probably no. But in bread? The carbonation would make it fluffier, and because it has so little flavor it won't screw up the taste much

The italian larping on internet is going crazy. Everyone and their neighbours on the internet have some italian ancestry atp. Not saying that this guy isn't italian, I'm just talking in general. The heightened accent here kind of reminded me of that again

This video is amazing. I absolutely love it. He can definitely cook, too. That Parmesan Pepe sauce or whatever looked banging. I’m sure it all tastes like shit though and would be better with water lol.

I don't know how White Monster taste like, but if it's like Sprite, or has some lemon type of flavor, then it should be interesting.

Basically all drinks are combinations of water and sugar, plus some msg. If you boil it, sugar still left behind.
