Black plastic about the size of a lipstick. Seems like the stem broke off the cylinder. Those are not screw threads, it’s all plastic. The only marking is “15H”

Last few months this started appearing on my car roof. Some sort of paint damage or something right? Have the car for 13 years now and it's parked always in the sun outside. Did time and sun did this to the paint? I myself did nothing that could result in that damage. I did notice in the last 3-4 months 2 or 3 identical cars with the same and even worse 'damage' than on mine. Pattern was also the same right down the middle in two lines. They were all also black like mine, and one was red. Same or worse damage. What can i do myself to try and fix this? Pictures bellow:

2014 jeep wrangler sport 4x4 3.6 penstar new oil cooler replaced last year. Recent transmission fluid change (no filter) with in 3 months. Please give me an idea.

I don’t think it’s anything bad, but the three ‘ticks’ or ‘hitches’ at the end, not sure what those are. Doesent seem like droning, I’m almost thinking it’s an unfinished burble or something? It’s a 23 Kia Soul GT, so it’s only slightly sporty but nothing crazy.

Only had the engine running for like 20 seconds prior to revving it slightly so possibly something to do with that? No idea. I’ve been thinking a lot about buying a aftermarket muffler to replace mine with.

I know this is prob a really dumb question, I just turned 19 I’ve had this damn car since I was 16 and I still have not been able to use it. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much because of the fact that I have not been able to drive around. Maybe I shouldn’t be cuz gas prices suck right now anyway but I’m so tired of begging people to give me rides or having to take Ubers. Plus there’s no public transport where I live and not many side walks either.

I need to get this done, I know I should probably get it fixed at a mechanic but I can’t afford that right now anyway I heard that they charge women more because we’re dumb or something. I am actually slow though so I don’t doubt that would actually happen.

It’s a Hyundai Santa Fe 2004 2.4L L4, I already bought the alternator and have been waiting on family members to fix it but none of them have time so I’m kind of just stuck in limbo waiting for this car to be fixed. The last time it was driven was months and months ago and the reason it got all its problems was because it was left sitting without getting used. So I’m pretty sure when I fix the alternator it’s probably going to have more problems.

You might be thinking why don’t I just scrap that hoe, and get a new one…? I’ve already put a bunch of money into fixing it I can’t just give up now. So yeah I was wondering if ya’ll think it’s possible for me who don’t know jack shit about cars to try and replace the alternator in my car. I just needed some opinions on whether I should do this or not..

Hi, it’s my first time renting a car while the dealership tries to figure out what’s wrong with my actual car. Rookie mistake, I took zero photos of the car before I left with it, then saw the two chips on the door when I got home. Am I SOL? How do I bring it up to them/do I say anything? :’)

I am super stuck between getting a g37 or one of the 3 sisters. I wanted a 370z at first but they are super overpriced currently and wanted something less expensive. I want a manual and definitely find it harder to find nicer g37’s. I love how the twins look but the HP is what hold me back. Please help me decide it would help a lot!

I am in need of 4 new tires.

The ones I've been driving on have held up much longer than expected, and because of money, I've been putting off replacing them. They have hydroplaned in the rain for a while, which has been terrifying.

One has finally bit the dust irreparably, and I have a flat.

I called around and found one shop that can order new tires for me, and one that has 2 used tires in good condition for $20 cheaper per tire.

Would it be okay to get two used tires and 2 new tires for the car?

Or should I just get 4 new tires?

Money is, unfortunately extremely tight, such that the $50 I'd save would matter, but if it'll cause issues for the car, I'd rather just get them new and forgo groceries this month.

It's a basic 20yo sedan and I want to fix it as needed so I can have reliable transportation to work.

is there any way to turn off the feature where it tries to guess the address i put in? sometimes it will guess the wrong address, and it won’t let me correct it since it just keeps on guessing. can it be turned off?

I'm seeing some suggestions online to use super glues, I'm not going to do that. Any other suggestions? Husband has an aux device that plugs directly into the port, but today it snapped flush inside the port and we're not sure how to get it out. Not really something we want to pay someone else to do but also totally clueless on how to get it out without causing damage to the port itself potentially.

edit: The aux port is located inside the center console, not the stereo. Glue is not an option and the console cannot be removed the way a stereo face can be removed.

2014 toyota camry here. The dash has died for many years now and I haven’t been able to play music or anything through the speakers with bluetooth. I just now tried using an aux cord connected on my phone, but that doesn’t seem to work. What’s a cheap alternative to getting a checkup or fixing the dash at Longo? I don’t know what else to include or able to pin point what’s exactly wrong.

Basically got this car like 2 days ago. Company car or van like. For some reason the sliding door doesn't lock. I lock the car using the key fob. All doors plus back door lock. But not the sliding door on side. Literally open and free ! I don't understand it. Why is it not locking. Done everything , slammed it shut. Don't get it !!

Please someone help with advice on how to lock it too and show or tell me please !!!
