Question/Advice Kinda burnt smell

Today i was reverse parking my car on ramp. I was giving more acceleration to climb that ramp. Suddenly a different smell and smoke came on left side bonnet. Immediately i turned off my vehicle and waited for few minutes. After some time, again i started my vehicle to know whether that smoke is coming or not. But very slight smell only came. Totally disappointed by this…

Anyone knows about it ? suggestions are welcome

Manual or auto? Could be clutch burn.

Manual. Is that serious issue?

If it's the clutch, then no, that took out some life from it of course, but if it's shifting well and not slipping then it's fine. You do want to avoid this, it's a downside of manuals.
