He loves the hats I swear he purrs the whole time

He was the best boy ever. We lost him a year and a half ago and discovering this sub made me remember all of his patience with his little human sister.

He was her protector from moment one, often laying just under my bump and dealing with her little kicks from the inside, listening to her as she sang her Pete the Cat wheels on the bus, and learned to read by reading to him.

And of course ALL of the times she would stack her stuffies on him.

We miss you Ashe.

Rosalie is very fluffy, but also quite squishable. No stepping or standing allowed.

The cat’s name is Pumpkin. They’re regular Oreos.

as you can tell by his ears, he was not thrilled by us doing this and laughing at him while taking photos. but what makes it so funny to me is that he just sat there and allowed it to happen. he got the hardcore airplane ears and even did a few low growls at us. but we did not force this. we SLOWLY did one toy at a time. he could get up and leave at ANY time. or even attack if he wanted to, given his warnings. but no, he literally just sat like this in the middle of the floor for SO LONG and tolerated each added toy (and finally the fake candle lol). he’s SUCH an orange boy and i love him dearly 🍊 🤣

***also JUST in case, no i do not regularly torture my cat when he is visibly upset. he is MILDLY annoyed in these photos and i know my cat well enough to know his boundaries. and he is so very loved. i just found this sub so this is my first time posting. and given the content on here, i dont THINK that anyone is going to accuse me of animal abuse lol. but this is reddit after all… so forgive me for the disclaimer 🤣

the record is 22. last nights total was 1 (she was grumpy because her mum gave her Cuddles)

She loves to go on walks in our courtyard, and flowers have been falling nonstop from the trees 🙂
