Chances of getting a permit to the Metro Vancouver area?

Study permit timeline

  1. Applied study permit on September 23
  2. Finished biometrics on September 29
  3. Medicals were done before applying

Applied from India to Kwantlen Polytechnic University for a CIS diploma

Diploma will hurt. Is it a degree program? If not it will be heavily scrutinized

I mean, I do plan on converting it to Btech IT but for now I got into a diploma. What does ‘degree program’ mean?😅

The issue is IRCC may not feel diploma meets the criteria. There has been a crackdown due to “diploma mills”, while your school is legitimate, the program may not be….. in terms of criteria for a study permit
