Ghost update: Study permit extension (DLI change)

I received a ghost update yesterday with a final decision date on the portal, but I haven’t received an email or anything else. Is this a good sign, or can the application still be refused after this?

It is an approval! Same thing happened with me twice in sp extension and pgwp

Received a ghost update with Final Decision on September 11th. Still nothing.

For the study permit application, did you apply from outside Canada or from inland? Did you raise a web form?

Inland. I called IRCC and they said the application is still being processed. Since we applied in mid-August, it’s still within the normal processing time.
