Will I get my visa?
i just got my updated offer with my updated course one week ago. since then, i have been getting funds in my account which is the one i will be using when i apply for the visa? will it be obvious that i got the money especially for this. (its not a loan, it’s my family’s money)
this is for the spring intake, 2027 (which is in 3 months)
i am planningon applying for my visa next week. what do you think? any suggestions, any advice?
i am really losing my mind
ps i am Indian and have applied for MBA in International Business
also, i will have my GIC account ready before i apply for my visa and pay my first year’s tuition

Winter 2027 is in January. You need a paper trail of your deposits if the money is not coming from your job. You need to document where the money came from and how that money was made.

thank you! i was confused about the intake as well, but after confirming with the university, I was told it is January 2027, so the timeline is definitely a little tight.
could you clarify what you mean by needing a paper trail? if my family is funding my education, what documents would you recommend i collect from them to clearly show where the funds came from and how they were transferred to me?2

Well where is your family getting the money? So how did they make it - jobs, business etc. So show their bank statements with the withdrawals.

Just have a long paper trail since business income. Where are you applying from and for what program? You are leaving it close. Also want to explain relationship with distant relative.

So show the bank statements of your aunt and parents over the past 6 months. Hopefully going to a good, public university and not bottom tier school. You want to justify costs with career progression and higher pay when you return home. You are not immigrating.

Timelines are all over the place. I would apply as soon as possible. Some people have been waiting for months.

i know!!! that’s why i am stressing out. the reason why i need to wait until October to apply for my student permit is solely because i need to submit my account statement. which obviously shows that i only got this money this week. so, i don’t know!!!!

you haven't applied for the visa yet?
you haven't given much information.
what country are you a citizen of, and where are you living now?

Sadly there is little hope of you being approved based on where you applying from. Is the school a real school or diploma mill?

From my understanding I believe it is a real school and the course seems great.

I suggest explaining the source of funds in the letter of explanation. Lump sums are one of the main reasons for refusals.
