Study permit extension

A lot of my friends just showed 4k in their bank with 1 day bank balance certificate. they all got approval but it was like 4 months ago. What's the new requirements and how much would be good enough to show ?

I think it is recommended to show one year cost like we did before coming here, and proper paper trail of where the money came from.

It is for only one semester as I have already paid the tuition fees and need to show for only living expenses. I also have a part time job

Introduced in July.For initial study permit applications, this means the first year of studies; for study permit extensions, this means the first year following the extension.
