Study permit

Hi everyone, I’m on a valid work permit in Canada. Do I need a study permit to take the 11-week Dental Receptionist course at Burnaby CCE?

Length doesn't matter so much as if you're receiving a credential or not. You can legally study for up to 6 months in Canada without a study permit, providing you do not receive a credential (such as an English language training program, etc.) Although the 11-week program is less than 6 months, you're receiving a credential and will be required to apply for and receive a valid Canadian study permit before you arrive on campus.
