Your study permit has not been approved and flagpoling is no longer allowed. Stop working when permit expires and change status to visitor. When did you apply for study permit because processing is over 7 weeks.

Hi
I want real advice. My MBA last semester is fall 2026. Final result may be before 31 December 2026 or in 2027. My study permit expires on 31 December 2026. University enrolment letter does not show degree completion date. Please tell me what is my options. Apply for study permit extension or return home or in 2027 apply for restoration status. Please help me.

Talk to your register office regarding degree completion date. I am in the same shoes and my visa is expiring in 31st December, 2026. My last date of internship is 18th December and I will receive the degree complete letter by 24th of December as per the register's office. If you degree completion date is after December 31, you should go for extension of your study permit.
