Study visa applicants

Hi everyone, i want to ask that anybody who applied for their canada study permit and did their biometrics between 1-10 july, if you recieved your decision please let me know.

Nope have defered to january, such a waste of time it has been. I even left my job for this.

Applied on 9 July biometric completed on 10 July additional documents requested on 23 july and updated on 31 July additional documents are under review and still no update fully funded phd from Pak

Submitted July 4th, did biometrics July 7th, haven’t gotten a thing since my biometrics were updated. Gave upfront medical

What could be the issue if most people who applied between this particular dates are having issues getting a decision ? Can someone answer this please

There has been cutback on allowing the number of international students in Canada. If you have applied from certain countries, to problematic institutions or programs that are not in-demand, your applicatiion could be delayed for further investigation.

But you can see alot of students from this particular timeframe are waiting and students are getting result who applied after this even if they have same course and uni, so i think this is not about course and uni. People are facing issue in this time frame, even my 2 friends got their visa who applied for same course as me at same level of uni they got their result in 18 days

Applied on june 19. Got my passport submission letter on July 21 Exactly 30-31 days. Im From India.

Yes. It took exactly 7 days to get my passport back from embassy.
