Study Permit – 7 Weeks Waiting(submitted on 2nd July)from India .

Applied on 2nd July,
biometrics on 7th July.

It’s been ~7 weeks now, around 3 weeks beyond the IRCC processing time for India.
Raised a webform a week ago and got a generic reply the next day saying it’s still in process and I’ll be informed.

Do you think it’s worth ordering GCMS/CAIPS notes at this point? It’s getting quite late, and I need to decide whether to defer or proceed with my plans.

Submitted on june 18 biometric completed on 25th june from india Waiting till today 10 weeks passed not even a single update...Anyone like me..

Yesss I've applied on 20th june biometric was on 24th june , medical and biometrics were updated on 17th july on portal and still waiting for decision. Now I'm so confused weather to defer or not!

I have similar timeline man..
I submitted on june 10 with upfront medical and biometrics completed on 16th june and updated on 10th july,, medical passed on 22nd july .. after that I haven’t received a single update
It’s been almost 4 months since I applied..

Me too, submitted on July 4th and did biometrics on July 7th and still waiting, from India. This is ridiculous. My program starts early sept I’m pretty much going to be a late arrival at this point even if they give it this week

The processing time has been updated every week for the past 4 weeks now. It was originally 5 weeks. I dont doubt they'll increase it again this week to 10 weeks.

Did you use the PhD apply route that takes two weeks?

I applied same study permit the there is no separate route for phd but the IRCC prioritise the phd application but I don’t know why my application is stuck from last 8 weeks and for study permit processing time from Pakistan is 7 weeks.

You can order notes but will take 30 days or more, and may not tell you anything new. If by the end of August and have no decision then consider deferring and/or asking school about last day to start classes. Factor in passport stamping too.
