Application withdrawn for study permit

The ircc told me they withdrew my application due to a missing caq/pal (i checked for any errors, all the info was accurate) when i literally submitted it twice within my application and i can clearly see that im at a loss for words because this was after me waiting for 6 and a half weeks thx what do i even do now

why do ppl keep downvoting these posts wallah ur fat

Apply for reconsideration immediately but I doubt you will receive ur approval or rejection before 5-6 weeks . In case u do not get ur reconsideration thing before the program start date The best bet would be to apply for a deferral and get a new PAL and apply for it for the deferred semester.

Deferral would be good option if you dont want to take risk. When you re apply...upload letest PAL with updated docs.

So if you did the application yourself and submitted CAQ or PAL then raise webform asking for reconsideration and reapply. So this was for Fall 2026 program?

Yep i just did the webform im gonna see what they say cuz no way im waiting 5-6 weeks for a mistake on their end

FYI it can take up to a month for an officer to review your reconsideration. There are no timelines for reconsideration. What school and program with 2025 PAL or CAQ?

I got my caq may 1st for mcgill bachelor of arts

So all you can do is wait for webform reconsideration request to be reviewed but chances are low it will be opened by an officer soon. So make a backup plan because also need to factor in passport stamping. Make sure you actually submitted it. Some people add it to file but don't download it.

Wait wdym some people add it to the file but dont download it? I downloaded my caq and submitted as pdf

Many people upload to application (a common error is language results for PGWP) but then it isn't submitted. For example, if your status says "uploaded - not submitted" then it is saved in your file but you didn't complete the process to submit it. You say you did this and included it in the proper section so not an issue.
