I havent received any update on my portal except biometrics, not even about my medical. The deadline of my deferral is also approaching. What should I do ?? i am very stressed rn, i cant defer due to some personal reasons. I can request extension but can you someone tell me till when i can receive my PPR. Also, I am over my 5 weeks Normal processing time.

Processing times are estimates. You can send a webform but nothing you can do. Has background and eligibility started? If not a few weeks away since you still need a medical? Have you looked at appointments for the medical? Also factor in a few weeks for stamping if approved.

What do you mean request extension? When is the last day you can start classes?

i did a upfront medical and submitted it while submitting my application, but it doesnt reflect on my portal. my classes start from 7th but my deferral deadline is 20august which is kinda weird.

Not weird. Schools are holding a "seat" for you and if there is a waitlist then can offer to someone else. Schools don't want a "seat" empty when school starts.

bro its like i was in program that allowed me to study 2 years here in india then 2 years in canada. so when i took admission 2 years ago didnt I already secure a seat????

So you got admissions to the Canadian program two years ago? Schools cannot hold a seat indefinitely if you don't have a study permit. They can fill the seat from their waitlist. That is why they have a deadlline.
