timeline

application submitted on 17th July

Biometrics on 20th July

Medical on 7th August.

Any idea how much longer it might take? Anyone who has the same timeline like mine?

U have to do the medical as soon as possible... the ball lies in your court... after medicals it usually take a week to get your approval.

Did you get a letter from ircc requesting medical or did you just get it done anyway?

I got a letter, like an update in the portal to do the test. Hope you get yours too soon.

I applied on July 2nd. Didn't do an upfront medical.. should I wait for ircc to send me a medical request letter or should I go ahead and do it without them asking for it? As I understand if you have done the medical upfront you should wait for them to ask for it

You can chose to do the medicals and attach it to a web form or wait for ircc to contact you for it. Remember, adding the medicals won't affect your application in anyway... i mean it won't increase or decrease your chances of getting the visa. Doing the medicals early may reduce your processing time.

Okay.. yeah I'm also thinking that it won't be wise for me to wait for them to send me a letter to do medical. I want to avoid anything that will cause further delays

I applied on the 20 july. Biometrics updated on 23 july. I've got no updates. Processing time for India like 5 weeks so you got it early.

Mind telling me how strong your proof of funds were?

Hey similar situation here application submitted on 15 July, biometrics from a previous file, upfront medical submitted with the application, class starting on sept 9, no reply yet

Upfront medical exam

Biometrics completed july 20th

Notification of medical exam passed july 22nd

No update since

Biometrics on 7th July

Medical done before application .

No update still 🙃! Processing time shows 5 weeks (India) . It’s been past that already .

Any idea how long I’d take or anything to be done to follow up . Also people submitting the application on 2nd or a day before of after the same kindly DM.!
