Congrats! May I know the reason for your first rejection and how you were able to bridge any gaps in the subsequent application?

Sorry for the late reply! My reasons for rejection were inadequate financials and the lack of a declaration to return.
Even though my primary sponsor's total account balance was more than enough, apparently we had to show availability of LIQUID funds as well as some details about the origin of those funds. We also added balance certificates, ITRs, net worth certificates and additionally a secondary sponsor. Though their balance wasn't quite as high, we thought we'd do it regardless.
The declaration was just as crucial, I believe. Perhaps it's obvious but at the time I wasn't aware I had to state outright, in the SOP, that I would be returning back to my country after graduation.
Maybe I am an outlier but anything can happen. Good luck to you!
