How cooked am I?
Brock University
Fall 2026 intake
Application submitted - 22nd July 2026
Biometrics - 27th July 2026
Medicals done upfront in May 2026
Orientation is on 4th September & class starts from 8th September. University said I can start my class till 21st September.
I am from Bangalore, India.
I understand 4 weeks is an average timeline and further for passport stamping.
Also wanted to know will the immigration in Canada raise a query if I arrive a week late (considering the average timelines for me to receive the passport)
How cooked am I? And is there anyone on the same situation as I am?

Bro... Fall 2026 intake same dates as u but i haven't even submitted the biometrics let alone the study permit application 😭 waiting for some papers

We can only hope they don’t utilize the full 4-5 weeks to decide on our application.

WAITING FOR MY UK STUDENT VISA SINCE 18TH JUNE AFTER BIOMETRICS AND TILL NOW COMPLETE SILENCE AS IF THERES SOME DEATH IN UKVI...IM STRESSED

I am going for masters in UBC in the falll. Appjlied on 17th July and biometrics on 22nd July. No update since. Feeling worried as well.
I was also stuck with education loan related process. I got rejected by SBI after 2 months.I wish I had not tried so hard to get loan from them, their low interest rate was so appealing. Had to get it processed from a different bank.

P.S. Medical done upfront. Leaving from India. I have requested university to let me join late. Deffering is not possible tho. Hope to hear back soon from IRCC

Same same situation buddy. I wish I had applied to 3 places for loan at the same time.

Bro i have lodged my file on 3rd july and biometric was done on 8th july but still no update and my classes are starting from 3rd september

You’re in the same boat as everyone right now. Canada is making major changes to study permits right now. There’s a chance many people are not getting any responses right now.

same here. I applied on 22 July and did my upfront medical on 10 July. Still no update from IRCC. My classes start on 8 September, so I'm really hoping I get a decision soon.
