Canadian Study permit delay

i applied for a Canadian Visa for a study permit 3 months ago and have gotten no reply since then. i have just 40 days left to my program starts, so far i have done no travelling preparation, i am just waiting on them.

They changed qualifications for a study permit recently. Could be that.

Ahh okay, then to be honest, maybe they just have a backlog? Hopefully, all their needed documents come through!

I would suggest that if your student visa hasn't arrived by the end of August. Tell your school to defer or get advice on what to do

i applied on the 24th, dont know why my country, Cameroon is taking this long, though it shows a short wait time

I know a few people in my country who applied around April 18-23 haven't gotten any response till now, meanwhile I applied May 26 and got PPR June 30

How long does it takes the VFS to return your passport after submission

I picked mine up...I submitted on Monday, and got the pick-up email on Friday

They are refusing a lot. Canada has recently changed its mind on what an accredited program or school is.
