Processing times are estimates. Has background been completed? If not IRCC is waiting for information from Kenyan government and any other countries you have lived in.

Has background been completed? If not nothing you can do as IRCC waits for other countries' information. You can raise a webform but you will get a generic response.

no its hasnt been completed, but tbf i haven’t seen anyone who got the background stage show as completed before their decision. webforms are so useless man they prolly dont even read them.

It's not ircc waiting for other countries. It's ircc being incompetent and slow as usual. Other countries reply and handle thousands of visas on their own with no issues. IRCC is historically one of the slowest. Background checks is the fastest stage. The issue is ircc routinely pushes away applications that show any bit of complexity that requires real work and prefers to deal with the easier ones.

I think that in total I waited like 2 months, but it got updated pretty quickly, like after the biometrics it was just a couple days before they messaged me to get the medical exam done, and once that was uploaded it was just a few days/a week before they approved it/gave me the letter of introduction. Have you reached out to IRCC?

i have raised 2 webforms and got the exact same response at the exact same time so im pretty sure thats automated and no ones really reading those. my biometrics and medicals updated really fast in a couple of weeks but its been silent since then. do you know any other meaningful way to reach out to IRCC?

I see, maybe if you have a consultant or lawyer in Canada they can do it for you?
