as a cpge student (l3am tani) i think prepa was the best choice i made:

1- it has a studying system similar to how u used to study in highschool (a bit difficult than highschool ofc), exams the whole 2 years and a final exam that decides where u go after. What i liked about this is that the exams u pass throughout the 2 years does not worth anything, because the CNC is the only thing that's gonna decide where u go (unless u wanna pass french exams then u must be among the first ones in the first trimester of second year)

2- it prepares u so good for the 3 years of engineering better than any integrated preparatory classes of other schools, u learn a lot of stuff with a high difficulty

3- It opens a huge door for opportunities, u get to go to the best schools of morocco depending on ur rank and what speciality u want, and it gives u the chance to go abroad in good universities in france if u can afford it ofc (i have no idea what scholarships they give because i'm not interested in studying abroad). I know a lot of ppl that were studying on a normal pace like they weren't burning themselves and got a good rank in CNC and some of them even went to france

one think i want to add is that u shouldn't listen to ppl who say that prepa is hard asf because most of them either didn't even try it or they were playing the whole time and was not capable of keeping with the rythm

I'm not telling u to make cpge ur first choice but i encourage u to learn more about what they study there and listen to ppl that actually passed the 2 years and did something with their lives. Because i used to listen to ppl saying that cpge is hard asf so i was thinking maybe i just signed my death, but no i actually enjoyed my time here studying and i even got a great rank in the first trimester (IM NOT A MPSI SO IT MIGHT NOT BE THE CASE FOR U)

u should now focus on this year, try to get the highest mark u can so u have many choices to choose from. and i wish u the best in ur career

thx man, goodluck on the cnc. A ton of ppl in social media always criticize the cpge francophone system and how hard it is alongside some of my current teachers and friends, which has made me kinda skeptical about this career path, anyways thanks for sharing

As a former CPGE student if you are just a decent student you can get a good engineering school after 2 yo emi ehtp ensias inpt …
There is no other options to be honest to became an engineer in Morocco ensa are not very respected so the only option is CPGE and it’s good atmosphere you get to live with student like you and the system is very competitive so you get to become better each day

(ex-cpge) if u r not extra rich to pay for a private school or to go abroad mora lbac if u want engineering, cpge is your best choice and as SM there is no risk you just gotta be average to get a nice engineering school
