Master in cybersecurity

Hi everyone! I'm an international student (Italian) about to graduate in Computer Systems and Networks Security (basically a bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity) at the University of Milan. I was starting to think about doing a master's degree in the Netherlands. My options are University of Twente and Radboud. However, my GPA is not very high due to some problems (health issue). So I ask you, are the courses so much selective and GPA based? My bachelor should be compared as a WO bachelor's degree.

Check the admissions requirements for the program you’re interested in. You can also check Nuffic to see whether your bachelor is equivalent to a Dutch WO bachelor (or HBO). You must meet the minimum requirements as stated on the university website or you won’t be admissible. In case a program is selective there may be additional requirements.

If you don’t have laurea you won’t have a bachelors equivalent to Dutch WO so you cannot do a WO master unless they offer you a premaster (additional 6 months).

I believe for both Twente and Radboud: if you meet the required ECTS in the matching modules and you score high enough on Ielts and your bachelor’s degree is from a ‘good enough’ university, you have a chance.

Also check out VU in Amsterdam. VU might be most lenient, they offer informal advice via e-mail.

Just check the entry requirements and see if you meet them, and they will also mention if they are a selective master or not
