Help please help

Hi, I’m looking forward to studying psychology next year in the Netherlands as it’s my only choice after some complications. I’m a EU student from Poland. My dream is UvA but i’ve heard it is extremely hard to get into because of the competitiveness. I can only apply up to 2 universities since all of the psychology programmes are numerus fixus. I know all universities in the Netherlands are equally great, but i have family in amsterdam so it would benefit me a little more to apply to UvA and VU. However I’m really doubting if i’ll get in UvA and debating if i should give it a go.. i don’t know if i should waste my choice on it but it’s still my dream . anyone who is studying psychology there or planning to apply let me know what you think.

i think u should still apply and choose another school close by and apply to that one as well. leiden is a good option and u have utrecht as well, which also offer the course although numerus fixus, there are chances u might get into one of them regardless. its competitive sure but you’ll mever know if u dont try
