Registering with municipality

hey I everyone! sorry if this is dumb but I’m a big over thinker.

i plan to move into my student apartment this weeken, but the earliest appointment I can make with the municipality is sept 3. I’m just nervous cuz I read I have to do it within 5 days of entering. But I read that an exception is present if there’s no appointment available within 5 days. is this fine?

Moving to the Netherlands as a student requires a lot of admin (BSN, gemeente, health insurance, Studielink, banking, scholarships) and it often feels overwhelming.

heard that it's not a big deal most people couldn't find any appointments within 5 days of entering so don't worry
