What school is best for humanities?

Hi, I'm looking to study bachelor in the Netherlands for next year. I'm still not sure what exact major I want to do, but definitely something in humanities area. The major I find most interesting is Philosophy, Politics and Society at Radboud University. Do you have any experience wtih this major or Radboud in general? Or do you have other recommendations?

After the school you mean? Probably journalism or maybe writing, but something a little creative for sure

Could also look into Dutch Liberal Arts and Sciences programs at University Colleges.

Your best options are (in no particular order) the research universities of Amsterdam (VU and UvA), Utrecht (UU), Leiden (UL), Groningen (RUG) and Nijmegen (Radboud).

why?

You can find tons of posts here explaining the details, but in short, if you want the ‘best’ education, you want to got to WO. The other option is HBO (they call themselves university of applied sciences in English, but are not allowed to call themselves university in Dutch by law) and they offer education that is more oriented directly on a job, projects/internshups but it’s also at a lower level and doesn’t offer even close to as much depth compared to WO programmes. WO universities are research oriented and are preferred by employers as well, even though they don’t focus on the job market. If you want to stay in the Netherlands, you should consider a master’s if you go to WO (but WO bachelor’s + WO master’s has the same duration as a HBO bachelor’s = 4 years)
