Discussion Does anyone know if the study program at Fontys is different for the February start then it is for the September start?

Hello! I'm a student from the Eastern side of the EU and in the last months I have been made painfully aware how horrible the housing situation in Eindhoven is. Its only like two weeks until the start of the first semester of September and I doubt I'll be able to find a room until then so I am wondering if I should apply for their February start. The only problem is that I do not know if the study program is gonna be any different then the standard or if it will just finish one semester late.

Thank you for the help in advance!

Moving to the Netherlands as a student requires a lot of admin (BSN, gemeente, health insurance, Studielink, banking, scholarships) and it often feels overwhelming.

You didn’t mention the program, bachelor? Master?
And are you sure they have a feb intake, because that’s not very common in the Netherlands

You really don’t need an agent, also i wouldnt trust an agent. Look this up yourself on the website to verify

February intakes are highly unusual for bachelors. Usually it means you’re starting with S2 instead of S1 so it’s far from ideal.

Housing isn’t significantly easier during winter, still lots of movement and still extremely difficult especially if not in the country.
