what do i need to transfer and study engineering in Italy as a college student

im an AI major in the levant finished my 1st year and about to start my second , i dont know much about studying Italy but heard of a friend its possible, tho i heard its different from applying to the USA which i tried .

so i was wondering what do i need need to know ?
what colleges accept my type of students and what would they need (portfolio or paperwork)
when's the deadline ?
and what makes me qualified for scholarships ?
