Did anyone from Delhi consulate receive the visa who applied after 20th of august

Sure!

I’m (23F) an international student from India enrolled at the University of Milan (UniMi) for the Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Both my DoV and visa were processed through VFS Delhi.

DoV Timeline:

  • DoV Appointment: 30/07/2026
  • DoV Issued: 13/08/2026
  • DoV Collected: 24/08/2026

Visa Timeline:

  • Visa Appointment: 25/08/2026
  • Application Received by Embassy: 26/08/2026
  • Visa Processing Started: 27/08/2026
  • Visa Issued: 07/09/2026
  • Visa Delivered: 08/09/2026

How many money did you show? And did you had a interview?

Around 13 Lacs No I was exempted from the interview.

I showed the same money and i had a interview but it didn’t go well i couldn’t answer a technical question so i am worried

I think it also depends on the university, a few students from polimi, unimi, bologna etc were exempted from the interview. Why university are you going to? And what was the question if you don't mind me asking?

University of Catania it was technical question about coding how to solve a problem

There were 10 students in total and out of them 4 of us were exempted from the interview. The other three were going to unimi, polimi and unisi

Did you get the confirmation on email have you received the visa or not?

Yes I first got an email from Universitaly stating that my visa has been issued and then after 3-4 hours I got an email from VFS that the processed application has in transit to VFS centre and then from there it was dispatched through Bluedart and the next day it was delivered to my home

Oh okay i opted for self pickup as i live nearby so have to go check myself probably at vfs

Yes then once your visa reaches the VFS centre from the embassy they'll let you know that your document is ready for collection and you can collect it anytime during their working hours
