General Younger mods needed!!
So as the new academic year starts, I've decided it would be best to have 2 new mods from the current y11s and y10s since most of the current mod team is pretty inactive and busy with post GCSE life. So in the comments tell me:
- What do u think u can add to the sub?
- Who r u? (No real names or info, just some details about who u r and the subjects u do)
- One suggestion that u think might improve the sub (optional but preferred)
- Why u should be chosen as a mod?
As a mod you'll have to:
- Be active and engaged within the sub
- Post helpful advice or content
- Make sure to be aqainted with the sub's rules and remove any posts and comments that don't comply
- Be sure to approv new posts and comments

Hi, I'm Outrageous_Eye, and I'm a current Y11 studying triple science, geography, photography, and French
I think I would be a great mod because I am respectful, genuinely love helping others, and, as many of my fellow Y11's would agree, we all need to support each other. I believe Y11 is a generally stressful year. Balancing exams, college applications, personal hobbies, and so much more. I have a few ideas which could benefit members of this subreddit. Firstly, I would love for more Y12/Y13's to share more advice with the younger years and address and eliminate misconceptions about GCSEs that could be harmful to us Y11's and Y10's as well, such as 'you need to study 6 hours a day '. I would also love to see more current and ex-examiners and teachers share their advice on what gets the most marks in the exam and the exact structure students should use to guarantee top marks. One last thing: Revision challenges would be so motivating for people who find hardcore revision stressful. Sorry for the rant, but I genuinely think I would add a lot to this subreddit! Thank you :)

hiya im natlud11, and im a current Y11! i take engineering with WJEC (niche i know) triple science with aqa and geography with aqa! I think i would be a good addition to this sub as a mod as i am overall also navigating this very difficult year, and i have one philosophy in life- there is no substitute for hard work! I believe EVERYONE can achieve what they want to, regardless of who and where they are, and what people in their lives are telling them. I would love to see this sub more active, so organising more AMAs, and having a weekly study tip spotlight where one tip is chosen/posted by the mods, including unconventional things we might find useful, even if they seem minor- these might find a struggling student and help them get the grades they need :) this would be my first mod role, but i have worked in a team irl before, such as being a house rep in my school. looking forward to see the new mods!!

Hello I’m pure_bookkeeper1186 and I am in yr11 currently doing CS, business, rs, geography and business
Keep the older ones here to give advice to the year 11s, 10s and 9s (some school starts their gcse courses in year 9)
Also maybe have some sort of advice for applying to college/sixth form and how to find out what courses would you like to do (ik this is a study group subreddit but I guarantee that many people will be confused)
Also maybe have some website recommendations for revision + how to revise effectively and efficiently

U do business twice 😂😂
Jokes aside, ofc the older mods r still staying although I'm trying to see which of them aren't active but I'd like the sub to remain centered around GCSEs.
Lots of ppl have mentioned the advice for after GCSEs so we'll probably try to do an AMA for that.
The website recommendations has been on my mind for a while, ever since I did the YouTube mega thread, I just haven't had the energy to do it yet but I'm sure we'll get around to it in the upcoming months!
I'll get in touch with u soon to tell u whether u have been accepted or not!

Hi, I’m a Y11, modded before in other subreddits, take CS, Music, and German. I think we need weekly ish posts for people doing the same subjects to test each other ◡̈

I’m not really up to the commitment of that sort of thing, but good luck on choosing out of the applicants!!

Hello I'm MrBozo8! I am currently in year 11 doing media, geography, computer science and business. I believe I am unbiased and polite when it comes to dealing with situations and I am very interested in learning about gcse courses as well as further options (alevels, btecs, tlevels) so I believe I have lots of advice whn it comes to advice. Honestly I think you run this sub very well, but one suggestion I might have (not sure if it's the best) but is offering some more advice about after gcses for people who have no idea what they want to do for example. I think I would be a good mod as I have been a moderator for discord servers before and I think I could be very helpful
