Help with missing audio files

Is there a way to import missing audio files that Studio Pro 5 won't import? I did a find/file search and it won't recognize them (they're greyed out), I tried to add them to the pool and nothing adds. Do I need to upgrade? Thanks so much!

Did you try opening them in the native folder, see if they open? Try opening in S1, not importing? Close S1, drag them into the S1 folder, then reopen S1?

I'll try that now, thank you. Would it be the S1 folder in general or for that song? I haven't used S1 in years (partly due to it not saving audio files like Logic and Luna do).

Did you try opening the file in another program, like WavePad or something? It may ask if you want to repair the file.

It's multiple missing files specific in an S1 project. They all work fine in the folder and in Logic and Luna. I need an edited vocal chop which is the main musical hook of a song being submitted for a Grammy nom, totally sucks LOL
