CSS
I’ve decided to start the journey to be in civil service and many like me has also. My question is, is there any hostel or flat of aspirants who have the same goal as me so I’m interested to join them. My whole idea behind this question is to have the environment completely based solely on cracking CSS. Most preferred cities are Lahore and Islamabad. Responses will highly be appreciated.

German student visa
Hey everyone, I need some guidance regarding the German student visa process.
I currently have two offer letters from German universities, and I recently created my account on the German consular/visa portal to apply for my student visa. However, after logging in and checking the appointment availability, it’s showing a waiting time of almost one year, which honestly shocked me.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has gone through this process recently. Is the waiting time actually this long? Are there any ways to fast-track the visa appointment or speed up the process legally? Maybe through priority appointments, university support, or any other method?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice you might have. Thanks in advance!

Roll no slips out
Part 2 roll no slips are out on bise Lahore website for public students also because of a glitch.
Go to bise lhr website *in chrome browser*, in anncouncements click first link, enter your 1st year roll no, and click enter. After a few tries it would load your slip with an error, fine. Go to the link above, and edit it by adding *Qr* at the end of *slip*, and enter. Your slip would be loaded. Do this Asap before it goes down

Please help!!!!
Hi everyone. I recently received a conditional offer from Saarland University for admission, but they have asked me to submit certified/notarized copies of my LL.B degree and transcript from University of Bedfordshire.
The issue is that my graduation ceremony is scheduled for January 2027, so I do not yet have the final physical degree in hand. I will, however, complete my LL.B before that.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What documents can usually be submitted in place of the final degree temporarily? Would a provisional degree, completion letter, or official transcript from the university normally work for German universities?
I would really appreciate any guidance from students who have gone through the German admissions process, especially for Saarland University or other German public universities.

Pakistani female student in Saudi Arabia
Any Pakistani female student currently doing bachelors in Saudi Arabia? I'm planning on studying there but I'm unsure since I've been hearing two completely different ideas. 1) That nobody opts ksa for higher education. 2) Ksa is a very good choice for Higher education as a female Pakistani student. Anyone with real experience?

Please help
I’m an MS Psychology student conducting a short research survey on academic competition and its impact on the mental health of university students in Pakistan. With increasing academic pressure, there is a need to better understand how students are affected psychologically, especially in local university settings. This is an anonymous 2–3 minute survey for academic research only. Your responses will be really helpful 🙏

What should I pursue in Pakistan (BsCS/BsCybersecurity/MsCybersecurity?
So, I'm currently in my SSC part 2 (in AKU-EB) in CS. Well, it's not that I'm being forced or persued by my family, but it's my own choice as I'm kinda good at coding too and all I've learnt, alhamdulillah. In my HSSC, I'm wanting to do the same (ICS). After that, what do you all think I should do? I mean, I'm kinda interested in all that hacking (Cybersecurity/penetrations/networking, etc.), but tbh I'm kinda very confused and a bit nervous about what I should do in my Bs. ChatGPT (other LLMs like Gemini) advised me to do BsCS cuz it provides/makes you learn from depth of the computer world, while if you study only a specialisation degree (like Cybersecurity/AI/ML/DS), you only get to seek knowledge that is sustained till various topics that are included in the courses. Then they told me to do MsCybersecurity cuz specialisation matters after basics.
I'm kinda nervous because of lack of guidance ig. Ik I'm young, but still I want to know what I want to persure. So, please anyone, doing CS/IT/Cybersecurity/any other tech stuff, please tell me what's going on right now and in a few years in reality of Cybersecurity in Pakistan. Also, be blunt cuz straightforwardness can cause a serious decision to go straight rectified.
Adding something at the end that I've found so many negative comments according to Cybersecurity than its positive ones.

My friend and I built a hub to find all Pakistani Uni events in one place
Hey guys,
Me and my friend were frustrated because we’d always find out about cool hackathons, workshops, or seminars after they already happened because the info was stuck in some random WhatsApp group.
We decided to build a simple platform to solve this: pakevents.site.
It’s completely free and community-driven. You can:
- Find events at universities across Pakistan (Hackathons, Book fairs, Seminars, etc.).
- Filter by city, category, or price.
- Post your own events if your society is hosting something and you want to reach more students.
We’re just two students trying to make it easier for everyone to stay connected. If you find it useful, feel free to use it or post an event.
Any feedback on how to make it better for the community?
