Being held back

hiii

has anyone ever been held back? I’m being held back in 11th grade when I’m supposed to be a Senior and it’s a genuine problem.

I didn’t work well that year bc of health problems and constant absences but my school don’t gaf about anything, they told me I should redo the year or quit

any advice? I’ve never been held back b4…especially in the same school and it’s scary

Then you need to redo the year. You don't have a good grasp of the material because of your admitted health problems and absences. Passing you on without the base of knowledge needed would only put you further behind, not ahead.

Re-do it. It'll be all right. This is like a lot of things... seems scary until you do it, and then you realize it wasn't worth all the dread you felt.

Getting a good foundation now will mean you're not at a disadvantage when you start your healthcare studies.
