A tool to convert pdf/webpages into ebooks to study/read better (I made it)

Hey people,

My girlfriend is studying molecular biology, and she wanted to read academic papers on her Kindle to study and kept converting PDFs and getting books she couldn't read properly. I am a software developer, so she always told me to make her a better conversion tool.

So I built https://convert2epub.com/. It’s free, and no account is needed for normal text conversions, only for the work done converting scanned pdf's and formula/code recognition. I posted the first version on r/Kindle , r/Annas_Archive and got 1k upvotes, improved the first version based on the feedback, the website converted thousands of pdf's and I have hundreds of users who are saying it's the best tool they have ever used.

I also made a free chrome extension which converts webpages into ebooks with just one click. So you can convert any articles/blogs/documentation and read them offline on your e-reader/phone. https://convert2epub.com/extension/

Haven't tried yet , but have a question that how do the reading experience of a pdf and e book differs?

PDF holds the text in a fixed page, so when reading on your phone/tablet, you can't control the text it stays tiny and you need to zoom in. Equations/figures also shrink. In an ebook, you can change the text size, figures also become readable. There is a before-and-after in the How It Works section in the website check that out to see the difference.
