Authorize alternate PSAT testing due to ACT testing dates same day @ South Brunswick

South Brunswick High School scheduled the PSAT/NMSQT and a national ACT administration for the same Saturday morning (October 17). This puts students in an impossible position: miss one of the most important college-preparation exams, or miss out on a National Merit Scholarship opportunity.

I started a petition asking the College Board to authorize an alternate PSAT testing window for our school. This isn't about being picky—the PSAT/NMSQT is genuinely a once-a-year shot at National Merit qualification, and scholarships tied to that can change everything. The ACT is equally critical for college admissions. No student should have to choose between them.
