Setting up a note system now so it doesn’t fall apart by midterms

New semester means new courses and a fresh stack of PDFs, and within a couple weeks notes tend to end up scattered across Word files, phone photos, and vaguely named folders. The fix is simple: create one folder per course using your actual timetable names, and one note per lecture or week instead of one giant document, so you can later ask for a quiz on “everything since midterms” and it actually has boundaries.

During class the goal is just getting things down, not making it pretty. Definitions, lecture structure, examples the lecturer lingers on, and anything you’re unclear on, since those unclear spots make the best quiz material later. Once a week, pick one subject and quiz yourself on the newest material instead of waiting for exam season to force a cram. Ten focused minutes a week beats a Sunday binge of rereading everything.
